Mark Fernando, Owner and Founding Director of Informatics Education, has been at the helm of the international education industry for over a decade. He pursued his Higher Diploma in Business Administration from the Australian College of Business and Technology (ACBT) and earned his Bachelor of Information Technology from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. This experience inspired him to establish Informatics in 2013, which became a trailblazer in global IT education, providing cutting-edge services and firsthand guidance to students aspiring to study abroad. He is also a former instructor at the University of Colombo-IHRA, which promotes ethical, standards-based international programs.

Informatics was born out of his conviction in the talent and potential of Sri Lankan students to excel on the global stage. As the visionary architect behind the company, he has built the organization from scratch with a focus on enabling student success from the very beginning of their journey.
